In compliance with article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002, on Information Society Services (LSSI-CE), we inform users of our website about our cookies policy.
What is a cookie?
Cookies are small files containing small amounts of information that are downloaded to the user's device when they visit our website. Their main purpose is to recognise the user (through identifiers that do not allow identification with any natural person) each time they access the website, and to allow us to improve its quality and usability.
Cookies are essential to the operation of the Internet; they cannot damage the user's equipment or device and, if enabled in your browser configuration, help us to identify and resolve possible operating errors on our site.
Types of cookies
There are different types of cookies. They all work in a similar way but have some differences:
- Session cookies: only last for the duration of the visit and are deleted when the user closes the browser. Their main purpose is to identify the device type, support site security or basic functionality. They do not contain personal information that identifies an individual.
- Persistent cookies: are stored on the device and the website reads them each time the user makes a new visit; they have a set expiry date after which the cookie stops working.
- Functionality cookies: allow the website to remember user choices. The information in these cookies is anonymous.
- Third-party cookies: are cookies installed by a website other than the one the user is visiting; for example, those used by social networks or external content plugins.
- Analytics cookies: are designed to collect data on user activity in order to improve the service.
